to Ubuntu Support (case 00398586).
I have not testet your unofficial kernel version up to now, because I need a
procedure to reproduce the crash after minutes and not after days.
Which procedure should I fo

process for approval with us.
I'm currently trying to find a stable workaround.

When using the "git" command-line, all messages displayed in English.
Looking at the contents of the git package, nothing is installed under
/usr/share/locale for the Git package.

After several hundred package updates over time this problem is no
longer occurring, I suspect that it was something buggy in the XML

I tested two systems with different samba servers and can no longer reproduce
the error.
Kernel 6.5.0-35 works for me.

This is still the case with 6.8.0-28 but now things are worse, there is
also a problem with firmware paths and the driver, strangely. I will

This continues to happen with kernel 6.8.0-28.
But I have noticed that if I switch VTs with Ctrl-Alt-Fn to another VT
and back the stuck 'Ctrl' situation gets reset.

The crash only occurs when closing GIMP with an open unsaved image and
selecting 'Discard'. If all images are closed first, GIMP can be closed

Running the ppa test kernel I can't reproduce the problem anymore. :-)
I use two cifs servers running Debian 11, with a couple of shares. With both
standard kernels (6.5.0-27, 6.5.0-28) copying inside a share fails immediately
on any server.
