Oh, well done! I tried every version I could get my hands on and then
gave up. What was the secret?
I'm guessing but suspect that partitioning taking place so late may be
due to the needs of net boot/install options - no network connection,
no progress...

I tried Debian - same installer, same problem.
I tried OpenSuse and that works a treat. So there I'll stay for now!
Drop me a message if I can help tho' I'm no sysadmin just a bloke
trying to build some back-up for home.
