Follow-up on my earlier post regarding the 2.6.22 kernel from gutsy. Bad
news, it still fails in similar fashion :( It just seems that it's more
robust on 2.6.22 and does not fail as easy as on earlier kernel.

controller and a pair of Lacie 500Gb USB2.0 drives. I'm using software
raid1 on these drives.
