Thanks for your reply, my question is currently in nautilus. When I use
SSH to log in to my user, the time to enter ssh is very short, but it is
very slow when reading the user's home directory. So I guess it is

Public bug reported:
I created the user's home directory on the computer's mechanical hard drive,
but the user's login speed is very slow, and the speed of viewing the file
content in the desktop environment is slow. At the same time, I tested the hard
disk read speed:
hdparm -Tt /dev/sdb
We are using the ussuri nova, which already includes the above patch,

I'm having the same issue, with the release build of 16.04 LTS as well.
I'm using it on vSphere 6.0 U2, 14.04 LTS has always worked fine using

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=624681, I didn't exactly
report the bug, because I searched the bugzilla before I file the

works fine on my Dell e6400. At first I thought it was because of pause
audio, but after I changed my sound system to OSS4, problem still. Every
time it happens, I have to unplug the battery, cut AC power, then try to
power on,
It seems that adding a new search engine does not hurt.
But obviously, it should be be set as default.

I tested in Lucid release version. evolution still has the same problem.
Hardware info as in my first post in this thread and I believe anyone
can reproduce it. I don't attach valgrind log here, because the last one
is sufficient, thanks.

According to SCIM wiki:
http://www.scim-im.org/wiki/faq/general/why_xim_apps_does_not_work
If we cannot use scim in xterm, this is because scim XIM support module
not loaded
use the following command:
scim -d -c socket -f x11 -e
In fact, Fang Qian has written a gtk+ based gui application for this.
Though I personally think it is way too overkill to write a gui
application for this simple task, a less-than-5-line CLI script is
enough for this. At least the CLI does not introduce gtk+ dependency
to kde users.
