I worked around this problem on Samsung Chronos 7 series in Ubuntu 12.10
by using acpi_os_name=Windows 2009. A dump of ACPI reveals special
code for Windows 2012, which I believe Linux is having trouble with.

I see the same message for my ATI Technologies Inc Radeon R200 QL
[Radeon 8500 LE] on Ubuntu 10.04 while playing World of Padman. The game
exits with the message:
drmRadeonCmdBuffer: -22. Kernel failed to parse or rejected command
stream. See dmesg for more info.

I added the redhat entry manually in my grub2 menu using
/etc/grub.d/40_custom file..

I had similar trouble but tweaked its config file to workaround this.
[1] open ~/.config/tracker/tracker.cfg in your favorite editor.
[2] Change Verbosity to 0. Something like the following--

application for example.

displayconfig-gtk should use the same mechanism as other tools to inform the
user of a required
validate != test
It is valider in french (my native language) but probably apply or
something like that in English that causes the bug.
My video driver is the intel (!=i810) one (i don't know what you
mean with the new intel driver was missing)
In my case, it is still possible to press the test
this virtual display is not displayed.

i think there is a mistake in the french translation of the sources.list
manpage (and maybe also in the other languages but i don't know)
on the third paragraph named sources.list.d, people are said to end
sources files with *.sources.list, but i think only *.list is
my own experience says :
inside the /etc/apt/sources.list.d directory ...
* if the files ends with '.list' then it is taken in account during a apt-get
update
