I first tried installing Ubuntu 10.10 64-bit (Alternate) from Windows 7
via Unetbootin 494, both with Hard drive option and USB one. But in both
cases it gave Cd-rom related errors after language and keyboard
selection (No common Cd-rom drive was detected in case of HDD, Error

change positions from the extreme left side of the panel to extreme
right after each subsequent reboot , while sometimes either the Sound
panel is missing, or the Shutdow

In Ubuntu 10.04, I used pavucontrol to change the recording source to
"Monitor for Internal Audio" for Sound recorder to record the sounds
being played in Totem or VLC. I could see the output/input stream's
indicators showing that it was captu
