The rundom stuck key effect has been seen not only for arrow keys
though. It happens also for ALT, CTRL and probably SHIFT and SUPPER --
it is not easy to recognize what special/control key gets stuck. The
random stuck key effect never has been seen with alphabet and numeric
keys though.

As a tester I've did my best to help figure out why MC8780 doesn't work

I get this crash when I try to connect to mobile ISP.
I use network-manager applet to select my ISP and in a few second I see a black
notification popup bar next to it saying Disconnected. In a few scond later
ubuntu shows the crash icon and proposes to report a bug.

uninstall consolekit is a no-go. Without a patch Hardy(Ubuntu 8.04.2)

I agree with user jh. For me the urgency is severe or high. I could
write a script to kill these processes, but this may kill healthy
activity too ... So, until a workaround is not clear for me it is severe
too. Also, I am quite worrying about the age of this bug in this
unsolved state. This

My Samsung P35 laptop worked good with Ubuntu Feisty 7.04.
Now I've upgraded my working Ubuntu to the recently published Ubuntu
7.10. In a few seconds after log in my laptop stops to react to
Fn+LightUp Fn-LightDown key combinations. Even worse: the screen starts
to flicker badly several minutes.
