Yes I think it can be closed. I just thought it was serious at the time,
because vim is quite important. I see that problem was with an armel
version, which is probably solved by now.

I am seeing something similar with a Lenovo ThinkPad T540p.
The output looks similar, except I see error -71
It froze the whole UI of the computer, and after about a minute, I was
able to get to a console with CTRL-ALT-F4 and saw it rapidly spewing out
logs like what you show above.
I notice you
mplayer, vlc, and MP4Box all say that the files are missing the moov
atom or that it is an invalid Isomedia file.

I can confirm this issue still exists in 11.04, login field will not
populate correctly when trying to enter Username credential. Tried in
firefox, chrome and also tried loging in using a virtualized (virtualbox
