Upgrade from 12,04 went well but system later reported "system Errors"
but appeared to be stable and everything appeared to be working - until
now.

I was trying to reinstall Mint Isadora 9 in order to setup the Home
folder in a seperate partition on the disk. I defined a new partition
and set its type to Home.
The system was running from a CD. When it crashed I could not print.

faultlessly with Mandriva installed. It runs well
with SimplyMepis (Live CD) and CSL (Live CD).

found the problem - the BIOS needs an update.
