I had the same problem using snd_cmipci. Flash would play for a minute
or two and then jerk for a second (like it couldn't keep up) and lose
sound. Alternatively, mplayer would play for a minute or two and then
freeze. I could restart either application and have sound for a minute
or two.

If I understand this, that while loop was put in because of possible
memory leaks, but in bo_allocate, the new bo is made part of a linked
list. radeon_bo_legacy_dtor destroys all the bo_legacys in the list. I
don't think it is possble to leak the memory.

Just because there is a bug in one that keeps the ref count artificially
high, does not mean it is a bug for all of the drivers. Whatever was
keeping it high should be fixed. This while loop is too drastic.

radeon_dma.c:
I was getting this crash in UrbanTerror. It only happens WITHOUT KMS on
(radeon.modeset=0). I made this change and it works for me:

'm sorry I never attached that lspci. The other files I attached were
from my laptop, and I was never on launchpad at the same time I was
using the laptop.
However, it doesn't seem to be a problem with the other hardware, just
with the camera.

I merged it with the ppscsi-source code, so it has the debian directory
and archived it. All you have to do is replace the ppscsi-source

I upgraded from kernel 2.6.15-26.46 to 2.6.15-26.47 (both were dapper).
Sound was working fine, now it is broken. I also use the snd_via82xx
driver.
dmesg (after modprobe snd_via82xx):

This does not seem to be a problem in the kernel. I recompiled MPlayer
myself and recording sound works. I have kernel 2.6.15-26-k7.
