Thanks for the feedback. The fix for your issue is indeed updating to
the latest USC since it depends on the GTK UI for the sign-in/sign-on
UI.
I'm closing this bug as Fix Released, but please feel free to re-open t
if you hit this issue again.

I updated to UFC 5.2.2 and this seems to have solved the problem of
there not being an option to sign in with an existing account. I'm not
sure if this solves the problem for the other guys though...

From looking at the screenshot it appears that the Qt backend is used.
Could you please update to the latest version 5.2.2.1 from precise-
updates and see if that fixes the issue?

Hi Michael,
I updated to the latest version of UFC (5.2.2.1) however, there is no
sign in with an existing account button but instead there isn't even a
pop up window to setup a new account that used to open when I clicked on
turn on recommendations

Hi Natalia,
I have attached that screenshot in an earlier post already, luckily as
after I upgraded from package 5.2.1 to 5.2.2.1 I no longer even get that
window popping up if I click on turn on recommendations.
Here is the output of the command:

existing account might not be appearing sometimes in the Ubuntu SSO
dialog.

hmm... I can log in without new registration if I click on Reinstall
Previous Purshares. But only in this way I can log in. If i click on
Sync Between Computers. or Turn On Recommedations, I can only create
