I starting cups via sudo /usr/sbin/cupsd and it looks like it started, because no errors. After that: apt-get download cups sudo dpkg -i --force-confmiss cups_*.deb I wrote in my previous post log of dpkg. Now I move on its place cupsd.conf: sudo mv cupsd.conf /etc/cups/ and tryed again sudo

I am effected by this bug as well. My situation is more like this bug that was marked as a duplicate of this one. Specifically, I am on 12.04 precise and my apt error stems from this: ERROR: Module usblp does not exist in /proc/modules start: Job failed to start as the other bug reports.
