Christopher, I am going to mark this bug as invalid. After the fresh
installation of ubuntu I had so far no situation where xorg/xserver wasn't
starting up properly. If the problem reoccurs I am going to open this bug again.

I build up my new system and thought it would be a good idea to install ubuntu
12.10 beta1.
In general it was booting up to lightdm. Sometimes I had a GPU-hung directly

I had this kernel still installed. Also doesn't work.
$ uname -r
3.5.0-16-generic
Since I tried ubuntu12.10, I had always problems that sometimes after login I
got
an gpu-hung. The screen totally froze.
But as it seems something else has changed in such a way, that the
xserver doesn't start any
