Gaphor version 0.17.2-1 on Ubuntu 14.04 starts without any problems,
even without python-setuptools installed, so I believe this bug can be
considered fixed.

Actually, scratch what I said in #1, it still fails with this error
message in Raring. Likely distribute was pulled in as a dependency for
some other package when I tried it the first time.
Nicolas: This sounds like an unrelated issue which should be reported to
everpad. If you look at the last

Thanks for reporting this issue and making Ubuntu better.
I get the same traceback when attempting to run gaphor version 0.17.0-1
on Ubuntu 12.10. For some reason it runs fine on Ubuntu Raring though,
even though that has the exact same version of gaphor.
