Debian and they have to include the fixed translation. See linked Debian
bug report.
Or can we just apply the patch for Ubuntu?

Thanks for reporting this bug! This seems to be an Upstream bug in
Debian since manpages are translated by Debian people. I'll talk to the
Debian people and see if they can locate it since I couldn't find
translations for adduser in manpages-de.
