Looks like this has been fixed in Gutsy (and I presume Hardy - will
confirm once I've upgraded my laptop):

This looks like it was mis-filed against X, but as mentioned in the bug
description it is suspected to be an issue with the kernel module.
Refiling against the Feisty kernel.
Could you please test against Hardy and see if the issue still exists in
that? If so, please list this as also affects

xpad is also the name of an application :( I couldn't find a package
which contain the xpad kernel module, which I believe is the affected
one, but this seemed like a possibility
