I re-installed Ubuntu 13.04 on my Desktop. In the Ubuntu Software Center
maven not appear as new software to install.
I Tried to install maven from prompt:
#apt-get install maven2
The system was installed maven at version 2.2.1:
# mavn -version
Apache Maven 2.2.1
...
The current version for

This is a work around...
sudo dpkg -i --force-all
/var/cache/apt/archives/libwagon2-java_2.2-3+nmu1_all.deb
The command above install
libwagon2-java_2.2-3+nmu1_all.deb
After this is possible to install Maven from Software Update
Center..
