I found it out. I am now sure this bug is fixed. What I still saw appears to be a feature: When I opened the search dialog in geany (which I have usually placed in the lower half of the screen), onboard jumps out of the way so that the input field is not occluded. It makes sense, but wasn't

Thanks, the version 1.0.1 in the ppa renders properly. However, it is still not perfectly usable on the high-dpi screen because it expands to much to the top (I believe the snapping feature gets sometimes the window coordinates wrong). I will try to narrow it down to write a separate bug report.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I also had problems with the ui scale in the system settings in Ubuntu 14.04 beta2. When I change the ui scale value with my mouse, the ui changes and org.gnome.desktop.interface text-scaling-factor changes, too. But when I change the

@Matthias Bendel, FWIW I can't confirm this here. gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface text-scaling-factor 2 gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.interface text-scaling-factor 2.0 The ui changes too. Onboard isn't affected by text-scaling-factor anyway because all text is scaled with the

Time for an update. A couple other issues popped up since my last post: label popups were too small, docking struts were halve size and switching the scaling-factor at run-time would lead to weird effects. I've added workarounds for these and the blurry label problem as well. I think that was it,

I've pushed a couple of fixes. The larger rendering issues with scaling- factor1 are gone and where needed for typing/resizing/moving etc., there is additional scaling. Currently, the keyboard seems to be usable in all modes. However, there are still issues: - The SVG Images we're using on some

Thanks for testing that. I hadn't noticed 'scaling-factor' yet, it apparently came to Trusty's g-s-d just this month. Setting it to 2 or higher indeed leads to the effect shown in your images, but there seem to be a range of other problems as well. I'll have a closer look. Changing
