Dropping importance, since this is not a general problem with online
album art display, but only affects files with incorrect metadata.
We've also got the option to improve matching on the server side, which
is independent of what we ship on the client (although I don't agree
that returning random
Perhaps it was low quality metadata from FreeDB then?
As far as providing more fuzzy matching goes, the online album art
provided by the thumbnailer is hitting an in-house service. Perhaps it
is the best place to do this sort of thing (so it can cache the result,
and avoid extra round trips, etc)
The file has been ripped and tagged by a CD ripper on Ubuntu. I don't
exactly remember which. Note that in VLC I get an album art (right
artist but wrong album though)

When I copy this track to my phone, it gets scanned by the mediascanner
