I got these errors every now and then, once in four, five days or so but it varies enormously. Also using firefox when the system crashes. The file I attached does have a statement about font stuff (concerning Xorg probably?) The /var/log/gdm/:0.log.1 file also mentions this backtrace (identical).

As for me, my nvidia geforce 6200 A-LE does not install properly in ubuntu 7.10 using nvidia version 100.14.19. So decided to revert back to ubuntu 7.04, updated everything in ubuntu first, then installed the nvidia driver and it installs properly but it was still crashing randomly. Then nvidia
