It sounds like you are experiencing something related to my issue, but I don't think it's exactly the same. For one thing, the actual volume does change for me. It's just that it only will go up or down by 11% from wherever the slider happened to be. And for another, the mute function works

The same behavior is duplicated on media keyboards as well. I have a Logitech mx5000 keyboard, and the volume slider behaves exactly as you describe. The volume OSD changes from 0% to 11% and back, but the actual volume doesn't change. I however, have the same thing happening with the mute
