In Hardy sun-java6 was recently updated to 6-05-0ubuntu1. Use the
"Nominate for release" link if you want to request update also for
earlier Ubuntu versions.

I'm afraid the patch isn't released in 1.6.0.04 since I have installed the
version 1.6.0.04 of JRE (java-6-sun), but I couldn't run any java application
until applied the Matthew Wardrop's workaround.

this was updated to 1.6.0_03-b05 in gutsy, but SUN have now released
patch release 1.6.0_04 and it'd be great to have it in gutsy.
