terminal and provide the output.
If you're doing this on a system other than the Lenovo X60 reported by
the original submitter, please open a *separate* bug report for this
using ubuntu-bug acpi-support.

First off, I wanted to confirm that this bug remains firmly in place in 9.04
(running on a Toshiba laptop), and definately poses a major usability
inconvenience to all those affected by it.
I also wanted to pass along my observations that this bug seems to be a symptom
of a larger problem
