This is happening to me in the Lubuntu 16.04 install.
I'm installing from a USB stick. It's a 2008 Macbook with an aftermarket
SSD that was wiped - not even a partition table. The "erase disk and
install ubuntu" installation method gets all the way past partitioning
and copying files, then fails
It looks like you had some network problems that prevented downloading
packages during the install. Please try again when your network is
working properly, or unplug from the network entirely and do an offline
install.

I have a Mac Mini 2006. This model supports 64-bit and I had succesfully
installed Lubuntu 15.04 64-bit before, but it has only 1GB of RAM. So I
want to wipe my disk and clean install Lubuntu 16.04 (32-bit) on it, on
UEFI mode, but after copying all the files,
