I installed fcitx-mozc 2.17.2116.102+gitfd0f5b34+dfsg-1ubuntu1.1 from
xenial-proposed.
$ dpkg -L fcitx-mozc | grep mo$

I don't think we should apply the workaround to yakkety, let's rather
fix it properly there.

+ [Impact]
+ For some at this point unknown reason, langpack-o-matic refuses to include
fcitx-mozc.mo in the applicable language-pack-*-base packages. As a workaround
for now this proposed upload rebuilds mozc with export NO_PKG_MANGLE=1 so the

There is no mentioning of fcitx-mozc at all in the langpack build log,
neither for installing it nor it being an unknown translation domain.
For some reason it gets ignored, not sure why yet.

The fcitx-mozc.po files were included in the raw exported data:
http://launchpadlibrarian.net/268214743/ubuntu-xenial-
translations.tar.gz
However, it seems not to have helped:
$ dpkg-query -W language-pack-ja-base
language-pack-ja-base 1:16.04+20160627
$ dpkg -L language-pack-ja-base | grep
Thanks, Sebastien, that explains it. (I should have thought of looking
there...)

The mozc template was waiting in the review queue, I accepted it and the

The mozc source package was built - and stripped - on March 31, and the
latest full langpack export happened on April 15.
@Martin: Is there a 'natural' explanation, or is there some kind of
issue which needs to be investigated?
