Ah, i've never used Keepassx, so it might explain why i've not seen this
issue.

It appears that there is a problem using Keepassx in Zesty. I have been
using Keepassx across many release of Ubuntu and not seen this problem.
I can reproduce the problem above by just having the Keepassx window

Mark a single cell that has data and formula. Hit ctl-c once, move to an open
cell and hit ctl-v. When this is failing the data in the marked cell is copied
to the new cell but not the formula.
