It seems Pedro Villavicencio marked this bug as Incomplete -> Invalid.
It is still an issue and it does occur on the daily basis.
Please advice, should I open new bug ticket with exactly the same issue?

Any updates on this issue.
Evolution preview pane freeze happens consistently.
Evolution does not crash, and i still can view the email content if i open it
in the separate window.

I don't think that there is a Crash Report created, because the application
is still functioning. Just a single portion of the screen is no longer
updating. I tried to get a back-trace, but I could not get it to work. Is
there a simpler way to capture back-trace data?

tried to run as root using 'sudo' and that seemed to work, but it wanted to
launch evolution as if it were a new installati
