I had this problem on the Zephyrus M GS501M, it suddenly disappeared.
I'm not sure what fixed it but i suspect:
- Try going to the bios, disable and enable the trackpad again, save and
retry. (do it even if it's already enable, it seems to fix a windows 10
bug with proprietary bios settings when u
