With the new mouse, there is no issue in default Ubuntu 18.04. Considering the old mouse works well in Cinnamon, could this be possibly related to some driver issue for the old mouse that happened with some recent update ? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu

Thanks for explaining. Sometimes single left click also turns to double click. If it is hardware, I will replace it. The only thing that puzzles me is that no such thing happens in Cinnamon. I will use Cinnamon for a day and see if that is the case. -- You received this bug notification because

Thanks. It looks like the problem is indeed coming from the hardware, or the kernel: Event: time 1572507471.026025, -- SYN_REPORT Event: time 1572507471.042024, type 4 (EV_MSC), code 4 (MSC_SCAN), value 90001 Event: time 1572507471.042024, type 1 (EV_KEY), code 272

It sounds like you're saying the bug only occurs with the B100 mouse and not the current M105 mouse. Is that right? Also, if you encounter crashes with Wayland then those are preventing us from further understanding this bug so we also need to understand the crashes. If you have a current bug ID
