I'm having this issue on a new Metabox NH77HK (built by Clevo) on
Kubuntu 20.04. Elantech touchpad. I've resolved for now with psmouse
driver, but scrolling doesn't work and it doesn't disable while typing.

the fix is

configured by the BIOS. I can force the host_own bit to different value, please
