Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been
reported, but feel free to report any other bugs you find. The items in
the sidebar are volumes and not directory and there is several bugs open
about the naming no need to have new one abot this minor issue

I agree, I think the user should have a choice of naming all the
partition in media "disk-#" or by label, but this would give too many
options to the user and gnome is mainly trying to have more simplicity.
I think the reason it displays the size is due to a limitation, not
being able to read the l
I too find this annoying, some people might find it useful however so
making it optional would be my suggestion.
