Since you suggested a kernel bug, I updated to Ubuntu 25.04 (6.14.0-15-generic)
and the problem is solved in newer version.
External monitors are now correctly detected by the system.

I think it's most likely the USB-C port is wired to Intel and this is
just a kernel bug failing to detect all the dock features on boot.

Following up on your points: I've checked the BIOS for options related to
Thunderbolt or display routing between the integrated and dedicated graphics,
but unfortunately, I couldn't find any such setting. I've also tested
connecting the docking station v
It seems you're using a version of the Nvidia driver that is not from
Ubuntu. Please try removing the driver you have and then using the
'Additional Drivers' app to install the Nvidia driver.

Thanks. It seems the kernel itself can't see any external monitor
connected. It's also interesting the Nvidia card isn't reporting any
display connectors exist. This makes me wonder if the Thunderbolt port
is wired to Nvidia instead of Intel. Can you configure that in the BIOS?
