I confirm this problem with an X40. All the USB ports on my previous X40 died like described here: (unfortunately I do not remember if there were these "over-current" messages on my previous X40) -- [Hardy]

When suspend to ram and resume it spends 40 seconds showing console and waiting for X. In Gutsy and the first versions of Hardy Beta resume from suspend were speedy, 1 or 2 seconds and X is present. WTF is happening for 40 seconds before X is showed again, and the console with over currents in
