Michael, since you are the original bug reporter, can you confirm if
this is still an issue with Intrepid Ibex 8.10?

In reply to Ralf Krauklis, I can confirm that my laptop also has the
bluetooth PCI-Express card fitted.
I gave up getting Hardy to work and jumped straight to Intrepid at
around the Alpha 3 release. And so far, everything is working fine.
Suspend to RAM works fine 99% of the time - I still get
I have had the exact same problem on the same laptop model as Glenn
Coombs (Dell Inspiron 9400): Suspend works the 1st time but never again
until reboot.
In fact, in my case, this is related to a hardware issue with the
integrated Bluetooth card and it caused similar suspend issues with
Vista

is the error message the same (Freezing failed after 20 seconds. 1 task
refused to freeze: khubd)?
I cannot say anything about Vista on my Laptop, but in my case it seems to be
no hardware issue.
I never had any hardware related problems for over 3 years.

2.6.24-xxx kernels didnt solve my problem with suspend at all. But after
many disillusion I tried to compile 2.6.25.5 vanilla kernel (my first
kernel compilation) with .config file (make oldconfig) from 2.6.24-18
kernel and everything works like a charm!

The upgrade to kernel 2.6.24-17-generic was the first thing I tried
after reading slush's description of the USB kernel bug. It did not fix
the problem for me. I still can't suspend/resume after the first time.

I am seeing the exact same problem on my Dell Inspiron 9400, for which I
filed bug #222703. I installed 8.04 to a separate partition from my
existing 6.10 install. The 6.10 install still suspends and resumes
fine. It is definitely broken in Hardy though.
What's the protocol here ? Do I mark
I can confirm, Im using Hardy on HP nc6320 and the same problem - first
suspend is ok, second - crash on khubd.

When I made these files, my laptop didn't freeze with the known message.
After the reboot in order to get the kern.log.0 file it worked once and
failed on the second time.
