There is additional value to have the channel number in the wifi-radar
GUI. Your patch looks good, although I did not have the chance to apply
and really test it.
Checking out the latest upstream trunk shows the channel column is in
their TODO file. Maybe things speed up a bit if you post a patch
That is effectively what this patch does behind the scenes, just adding
a nice GUI in front.

While this issue is sorted out, what you probably want to do to figure
out a suitable channel for your wifi is something like this:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/bin$ sudo iwlist eth1 scan | grep Channel
[sudo] password for jlind:
Frequency:2.412 GHz (Channel 1)
