This software does not play anything. It opens it then does nothing. I
noticed the other day if I leave it for 10 minutes it really is playing
it but so slow that 10 minutes equals 1 second. I have reinstalled
Ubuntu 3 times nothing fixes it. I have Run Ubuntu in Live mode, still
nothing. I loaded

when i put in a dvd movie it i can hear the disk spining but its like
totem does not know its there it doesnot show up on the play list or
anything i know the disk drive works because it worked on windowsxp im
new to umbumtu but i love its concept please help me fix this thank you
