release.
Regarding your other bug with usplash this is likely bug 246269 or bug 243682 .

i just downloaded it again (using the daily_live 64bit option of unetbootin)
and it works fine
no extra parameters needed, it just started all except for one small thing
I had to take out the splash parameter or else the screen would just go black
i could tell it was starting, and i was able to l

When booting with unetbootin everything seems to load fine (indicating
that the previous bug was fixed) but then it dumps me into an initramfs
(or something like that) console
i removed quiet and splash from the kernel options but there weren't any
fatal errors
I checked casper.log and it said "n
The Alpha5 for Intrepid Ibex 8.10 contains the newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.
Please get it from http://www.ubuntu.com/testing . You should then be able to
test via a LiveCD.
Please let us know immediately if this newer 2.6.27 kernel resolves the
bug reported here or if the issue remains.

and I couldn't find linux-2.6.27 in the list of packages (only 2.6.26)
