There's a Hardy as well as an Intrepid version.
I can test the Live CD, but the reason I installed this kernel was to
resolve an earlier issue I had with hotdocking in the 2.6.24 (bug
163211)

I'm just a little thrown off by the title of your bug report when you
really are using the upcoming Intrepid Ibex 2.6.27 kernel. ie the
2.6.27 kernel is only available for Intrepid, not Hardy. Did you
intentionally install the Intrepid kernel into your Hardy install?
