OK thanks. I think only thing we can try is to drop the default key
options that NM passes to wpasupplicant and let wpasupplicant figure
them on their own.
Will prepare a patch for that.

yeah,wpa_supplicant.log.txt is the total log messages,maybe,it includes some
NM information.
But ,the tail part is messages from manual mode:wpa_supplicant.

yeah,when trying NM, i see that the syslog match my wpasupplicant as your
description,and,the connect take about 3~5 seconds using wpasupplicant without
NetworkManager.

could you also please attach wpa_supplicant.log for both test cases (manual +
NM). Since there are no timestamps in the log its more or less crucial that I
get the connect attempt only, so run a tail -f -n0 while reproducing.

settled, then tail -n0 -f /var/log/wpa_supplicant.log /tmp/wpasupp.txt
and reproduce and please attach your /tmp/wpasupp.txt.
Please also attach the wpasupplicant configuration you use when you
manually connect using wpa_supplicant

i have update kernel to 2.26.27-7.10 and all packages were upgraded to latest
version on Intrepid-beta-x86 platform,
