I have the same problem on my Acer Aspire 8930G 584G50Bn: hibernation
works fine, but resume hangs up.
The swap size is large enough (3GB RAM and 6GB swap).
If I can provide some additional information, please let me know.

Hello,
for me also the same problem, i.e. with Ubuntu 9.04 and all updates
installed, hibernate works fine, but on resuming the system the system
freezes and the keyboard and the mouse are freezed.

I can confirm this problem on my ThinkPad W500. On resumption, the
system seems to successfully read the memory from disk, but the systems
freezes after that. No reaction to keyboard input or mouse movement.
System is Jaunty 9.04, all updates installed (February 23, 2009). Kernel
is 2.6.28-8-generi
