Whether scripts can benefit from aria2 is really depends on the nature of
scripts. For those scripts that download small resources using wget, they don't
benefit from aria2 since wget is suitable for this simple transfer.

space is precious, and dropping another desktop feature for this does

Adding a full MB CD for this does not seem adequate to me, and having it
installed by default would be the only real reason to put it into main.
We ship wget by default which suits 99% of use cases (for the few users
who use command line tools for web retrieval in the first place).
