Just to add some more information, i found out that the version of [B]xulrunner[/B] being installed during alpha days was [B]1.8.1[/B] and that obviously lead to segaulting apps if linked against more recent version of it, such as 1.9. So, uninstalling 1.8.1 and installing 1.9 should let

I followed fuhrysteve's command and it worked for me. Also crashing was galeon. I've attached the gdb output. Turns out the complete resolution was to search for xulrunner in synaptic and remove ALL packages that made reference to version 1.8.x, even the dev ones. After that action, FF3.5 and
