Thanks for following up. This bug report is being closed due to your
last comment regarding this being fixed with an update. For future
reference you can manage the status of your own bugs by clicking on the
current status in the yellow line and then choosing a new status in the
revealed drop down
I have seen the same behavior (I haven't checked CPU usage). About Firefox
shows:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042523
Ubuntu/9.04 (jaunty) Firefox/3.0.10
My computer specs are:
Grafik: NVIDIA® GeForce® 8100, max. 512 MB shared Memory, VGA, DVI, DirectX® 10
Is this behavior still happening with the final release of 9.04?

Yes the behavior is still happening with the final release of 9.04.
I upgraded from 8.10 about a week ago. I believe this is the final release.
In the Xorg.0.log I find:
Build Operating System: Linux 2.6.24-15-server x86_64 Ubuntu
