Glad you are still open to the idea! I will be installing the other add-
on, but didn't like how some changes have to be manually made. Perhaps
this could be the first reason to open the preferences button for this
add-on, for when inevitably some will want the old behavior only. But I
can see wher
this is won't fix as we won't deviate from upstream behaviour wrt
notifications ... at least not yet.

My recommendation would be to include it in the package.
That way, we only have one addon in the extensions window, the 'Ubuntu
Firefox Modifications Pack' rather than that AND the Firefox-notify
package.

ATM firefox-notify needs to be fixed to support abrowser 3.0 3.5 and firefox
3.0 3.5
It has abrowser in the control but still wants to remove abrowser to install
firefox.

I would also like to see this used in Ubufox however the one thing that
concerns me is atm ubufox doesnt step outside the extension/plugin support
other than settings. Should we really get into this or should we make
firefox-notify an extension?
