I installed the flash plugin installer by typing sudo apt-get
install flashplugin-installer
in the Terminal.
The install did not fix the problem

Hello,
I followed the link you gave me. From the Terminal I typed:
firefox -ProfileManager like it told me to do so I could start another
profile and try the default settings.
This did not work. It just opened the firefox browser as if I just
typed: firefox I also tried typing:
firefox
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. Right now there isn't enough information to properly triage this bug.
Could you please let us know more information.
