*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 401151 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/401151 Have it working now. Using Crunchbang as the base install and never realized they have rpm and python-rpm installed by default so i removed it when i saw it in the software sources. Reinstalled both packages

** Description changed: I have Packagekit installed and removed the apt backend to it and installed the smartpm backend. If i open PK add/remove and try using the search i get an error "The search could not be completed" underneath that is a message "Running the transaction failed" and und
