I'm installing Linux Mint 20.2 Cinnamon on a Shuttle XS35V2.
I've got a Jmicron JMC250 network card 197b:0250 (rev 03).
It doesn't work, until I change speed from 1 Gbit/s to 100 Mbits/s :
sudo ethtool -s
[Expired for linux (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for 60
days.]

I just tried to test the latest development release. However, on my hardware
this bug only occured with the server edition and the hardware only runs 32bit
:-(
Is there any source where the development release of the server version is
available in 32bit?

another type of this bug is that your network card(JMicron) is not working
anymore. But it was already working.
So did anything happen to the drivers? No, this is not the first place to look

03). The livecd desktop version of Ubunut 10.10 detects and recognizes
the Ethernet card. However neither the minimal iso install or the
alternate installer

card instead of wired card. My problem was with Realtek [10ec:8176]

as NIC. The desktop version of Ubunut 10.04 recognizes the NIC correctly

I have a Netbook with JMicron Gigabit Ethernet JMC260.
On Ubuntu Netbook
This driver is already included in the Karmic 9.10 Alpha 2.6.31 kernels.
Care to please test this newer kernel in Karmic and let us know your
