I don't think the description of the resulting nsca-client package is ideal. Shouldn't nsca_client be removed from the server package (and the conflict dropped)? In fact, I suggest asking the Debian maintainer what his plans are for bringing the package back. Might as well use the same

Understood, as it stands right now either 1 or the other package can be installed. This might not be the idea solution right now, but I am reluctant to rework the package control file for this release right now. I do agree that dropping the conflict and adding a depends on the nsca- client
