We have already removed Evolution from the dependancy list for
do-plugins. This is actually a problem with the distribution
packagers. When building do-plugins it is possible to remove the
plugins that require external libs (like evolution, the google
plugins, etc), so we leave it up to the

The 0.8.2 packages in Karmic do not have a dependency on
libevolution5.0-cil, and thus do not have the transitive dependency on
evolution. Instead, there's a split-out gnome-do-plugin-evolution
package.
