Most likely it's related to bug 411962 eversince pulseaudio was upgraded
to a newer version. However following Vish's workaround on bug 411962
did solve my problem.

also have the same problem. with FF 3.5.3. Yesterday i sent linux to hibernate
itself, with firefox open. (and yesterday everything worked fine), today ubuntu
woke up, and no sound from firefox + flash. But it has sound at everything else
(mediaplayer, vlc...)

definetely yes, and as i remember, a few days before ffox+flash
(eg:youtube) also had sound after resuming. But today :) is a misterious
day :)
